Hands-on Pruning Workshop
Saturday, February 8, 1:00-3:00 pm
Pruning is one of the most important and sometimes intimidating skills you need to succeed in tea gardening. Winter is the best time to prune your tea plants to promote new growth. This is a great opportunity to practice cutting our plant before you cut yours!

Afternoon Tea Tasting: Floral Tea Blends

Join us as we sample our favorite floral blends of traditional teas with flowers from our gardens at Camellia Forest. These include our popular Osmanthus Oolong, as well as Gardenia Blossom Black and Magnolia Breeze - essences of spring to come. We'll also have some rose blends, including small samplers of Tulsi Rose. A limited number of these teas are available for purchase on-site while supplies last.

Sunday, July 6, 10:00 am-3:00 pm | Sunday, July 19, 10:00 am-3:00 pm
This 4-hour workshop provides instruction and hands-on experience harvesting and making tea. In our Tea Garden, you will pluck your own shoots, learn about key steps in processing for green and black tea, help with rolling, and see the process of oxidation transform the leaves for black tea. You will gain an understanding of which leaves to harvest, what processes are critical to the flavors and aromas we enjoy in tea. At the end of the class, take home processed tea samples to dry at home.

New and Unusual Tea Tasting
Welcome to our new and rare tea tasting event. We will be trying white and black teas made from Rosea, Ptilophylla, and more.
With so many different kinds of plants in our gardens, we often make small batches of tea that we don't usually sell. Now, as the gardens mature, we have more leaf and are discovering new flavors that we're excited to share!
